With solar energy, IBC, together with its customers, is taking a sustainable and decentralized approach to energy production that reduces CO₂- emissions and promotes a resilient energy system for future generations.
Solar modules make it possible to generate energy that can be used at home, stored for later use or fed into the power grid. In Chur and, we purchase your solar power and reimburse you the currently valid return delivery tarif . The solar power you produce but do not need is thus available to our customers.
We offer photovoltaic contracting (PV-contracting) for installed capacities of around 150 kWp or more. This corresponds to an occupied roof area of around 700m². As part of photovoltaic contracting, we finance and operate the photovoltaic system on the owner's property. The photovoltaic system produces electricity, which is billed to the property owner either at a working price per kilowatt hour or at a fixed amount. The property owner can resell the electricity produced to his tenants as part of a self-consumption association (ZEV).
The contract term is usually around 25 years. After this period has expired, the contract can be extended under new conditions, or the property owner can take ownership of the facility free of charge. For photovoltaic contracting, there is a partnership with Einfache Gesellschaft Sonnenstrom IBC.
You can also use our billing services for properties with self-consumption of solar power or other locally generated renewable electricity:
The wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Chur is the location of an innovative solution for sustainable energy generation: the world's first foldable solar folding roof over a sewage treatment plant. This pioneering project was installed in 2018 in collaboration between the Landquart start-up dhp technology and IBC. The solar folding roof can be extended or retracted as required. This flexibility makes it possible to use solar energy efficiently without affecting the operation of the sewage treatment plant. The project is considered to be groundbreaking for the environmentally friendly use of photovoltaics on infrastructure systems.
The "4 seasons" development in Chur is a modern residential project that focuses on sustainable energy generation. The photovoltaic system on the 200-meter-long building not only generates electricity for the approximately 100 apartments, but also for heat generation. This pioneering energy concept makes the development a showcase project for environmentally friendly and efficient living in the region.
The "Hof Masans" development in Chur relies on sustainable energy supply through photovoltaics. The solar systems installed on the roofs generate environmentally friendly solar power that can be used directly by the tenants for their own consumption. This energy concept not only enables residents to reduce their energy costs, but also promotes conscious use of renewable resources. "Hof Masans" is therefore a model for sustainable living in Chur.
